Santa Clara Youth Rugby Registration

Online registration is fast and easy. You need a valid email address in order to register. First you need to create an account and then register your child for the appropriate program.

Age Divisions

U8s - for players 7 years old or younger as of September 1, 2011. Players must be 6 years of age to participate.

U10s - for players 9 years old or younger as of September 1, 2011.

U12s - for players 11 years old or younger as of September 1, 2011

MS - replaces U14 - for players currently enrolled in middle school, in grades 6, 7, or 8. September 1, 2011. This division will be competing regionally with a more competitive emphasis. The MS schedule may not match the schedule of the younger divisions and may require 3-4 out of the area away games i.e. Salinas, Sacramento, Marin.

Provide proof of age.
The Youth League requires age verification for all participants. Parents must provide proof of age (i.e., copy of a birth certificate) for the registered player(s). Please bring this to your coach at first practice.

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration Fees are as follows:
$165 for the Under-8 division and Under-10 division
$180 for the Under-12 division
$195 for the Middle School division
Each individual child from the same family will receive a $25 discount
$20 additional fee to opt out of volunteering

Refer up to three (3) friends and save an additional $20 on your registration.

Paid registration includes a team jersey, shorts, ball, practice T-shirt and participation trophy for every player. Players need to provide their own black soccer style socks and cleats. Registration fees are payable by Visa or check to the "Santa Clara Youth Rugby"and can be mailed to :

ONLINE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Member Login - If you are registering on-line for the first time you must click the "No player in my family has ever played in SCYR" link to get started. If you have already completed the on-line registration process for one or more players and wish to register for another Santa Clara Youth Rugby (SCYR) program, add players or modify your information simply choose on of the other options. You need to enter the email address used when registering and the password sent to you.

If you have forgotten your password, enter your "e-mail address" and click the "Get an email reminder" link to receive your password via email.

Contact Information - The 1st step is required for all players who wish to participate in Santa Clara Youth Rugby during the season. This Contact Information is required and is used to create team rosters and communicate with SCYR players and family during the Rugby season. All fields denoted with an '*' are required.

Player Information - Player information must be provided for all participants wishing to participate in Santa Clara Youth Rugby during the season. All players must have completed the registration process (including payment of registration fee) and be placed on an official SCYR roster to participate in any practice or games. All player "Personal Information" fields are required. Please completely read the "Parent Waiver/Medical Release/Code of Conduct" statement before clicking the "Submit" button.

Summary - Payment Information - A summary sheet is provided indicating family and player SCYR registration choices with options to change and add player information. Fees are calculated and summarized. No SCYR registration is valid until all fees have been paid.
